Steep in the Woods first started out on Youtube with our most watched video to date being the pallet cabin.  Now, as our subscribers continue to grow tremendously, we have begun creating blog posts for our fans to follow.

These blog posts will go over many different how to’s and diy projects as well as our own personal opinions, perspectives and reviews.If you’re wondering what makes the Steep in the Woods family so special, it’s our drive to create content specifically for those who need to save money and want to live a more self reliant lifestyle.  We live completely off grid on a 26 acre homestead, nestled deep in the Appalachian mountains. 

You’ll see no fancy stuff here.  It’s just making do with what you have and what you can figure out!
